Action on Elder Abuse (AOEA) Advisory
AOEA response line offers information, advice and support to victims and others who are concerned about or have witnessed abuse of vulnerable, older adults. They also provide helplines for care providers, including whistleblowing advice and support to residents, relatives and staff.

National Domestic Violence Helpline

Women's Aid
Women's Aid gives confidential support and information to women, children and their supporters that they need. Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA)Advisory
An independent point of contact offering on-going, confidential emotional support and advocacy to those affected by sexual violence. Also provides information on options regarding reporting sexual violence and guides those who choose to report through the criminal justice process.
The ISVA can be seen in Wellbeing Support Services, the Student Union Advice Centre, or the Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC), depending upon preference. 30-minute advice slots can be booked in Wellbeing Support Services for Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons, and in the Student Union Advice Centre for Thursday mornings. Rethink offers advice and information on different types of therapy and medication, benefits and money, the law, and rights under the Mental Health Act.

Wellbeing Support Services are located on the ground floor of University House. Building number 65 on Campus Map. The Student Union Advice Centre is located on 2nd Floor of SU HQ, above Xananas, next to the lift. Building number 62 on Campus Map.The Blue Sky Centre
The Blue Sky Centre is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) for adults and children that recognises all forms of sexual violence. It operates 24/7, 365 days a year and offers choices and information to help users of the service decide upon their future following an experience with sexual violence.
Services provided include: - Dedicated forensically secure facility integrated with hospital services. Availability of forensic examination 24 hours a day within 4 hours of immediate need. Storage of forensic results. A female medical practitioner wherever possible. Crisis workers available to provide immediate support. Immediate access to emergency contraception and drugs to prevent sexually transmitted diseases and HIV. Referral pathways to Independent Sexual Violence Advisors. Signposting and referral to other appropriate statutory and voluntary services.
